Working in Confined Spaces
Aims
This course provides participants with the information necessary for safe working in confined spaces. On completion of the course, participants will be able to understand the hazards and risks associated with confined spaces. You will also learn about implementation of controls required to reduce the risk of injury and compliance with emergency procedures.
Structure
This course can be delivered at the School of Engineering and Technology or on site at a company's premises. This course takes half a day to complete and is theory based. It is delivered in a lecture room environment.

Progression
Candidates can progress to Risk Assessment or general Health & Safety courses, as part of their professional development.
