The ability to communicate information, ideas and findings effectively and concisely is a key skill essential for achieving success in today’s organisations.
The aim of this course is to enable you to be able to produce reports that communicate information effectively in a business context by:-
• Understanding how to organise and edit material for a report
• Using a logical structure to write the report
• Understanding the audience and using an appropriate tone
• Writing in a clear and concise manner
Structure
The course is based around you writing an investigative report based on an innovative case study provided. This activity will enable you to practise all of the skills required to produce reports. Feedback on the reports is provided by the trainer and peer group and this highlights areas for individual development. The course is rounded off by personal development planning.
