Ladder Inspection
Aims
The course is designed for employees at all levels in an organisation, so that they understand the safe use of ladders and how to inspect that they are in a safe state for use.Structure
Typically this is a 1/2 day course (dependent on the experience of the attendees), and is certificated by the College. The course includes classroom content and practical exercises involving the use of and inspection of ladder type equipment.Content
The programme includes: an explanation of ladder types and usage, maintenance, condition inspection, storage and identifying and dealing with faults. It includes some discussion on risk assessment in the use of ladders when performing a task.Career Opportunities
