IRCA ISO 9001 Transition Workshop

Aims

Provided by our IRCA-registered partners SQMC Ltd. (A.O. 3808)

BackgroundISO has now published ISO 9001:2008 – the latest edition (the fourth) of the International Standard used by organisations in 175 countries, as the framework for their Quality Management Systems (QMS).

Although ISO 9001:2008 contains no new requirements compared to the 2000 edition – which it replaces – it is an interesting Standard.  It provides clarification to the existing requirements of ISO 9001:2000 based on eight years of experience implementing the Standard worldwide and introduces changes intended to improve consistency with the EMS Standard, ISO 14001:2004.

Aims
This course provides participants with an overview of the Purpose and Requirements of ISO 9001:2008 as a tool for business improvement.

This workshop is ideal for all levels of staff – including top management.  It will be especially useful to those planning to take other ISO 9001:2008-based training courses such as Internal Quality Auditor and QMS 2000 Auditor/Lead Auditor.
