Aims

This course aims to increase your confidence and effectiveness at meetings with particular reference to minute taking.
At the end of the course you will:

• be to describe the key elements which make a meeting effective.
• Be better placed to organise meetings efficiently thereby enhancing the opportunity to minute meetings successfully.
• Understand the role of minute taker and how this integrates with other roles at the meeting.
• Know how to layout minutes and what information to include or exclude.
• Have the confidence and ability to evaluate a set of minutes for comprehension, unity, succinctness and effectiveness.
