A CommScope Company (formerly Andrew Ltd)

Due to restructuring around four or so years ago Andrew Ltd closed their existing Training Dept which was local to Scotland & re-developed it under the Corporate Banner with backing. My own brief at that time was to re-create the Training Dept to a lean, cost-effective and efficient asset for our UK and European Business units (EAME). This was completed in part by a massive internal re-structure, within that brief was obviously to attempt to obtain good quality local providers.

Client Testimonials

“After looking at many training companies and evaluating them against criteria important for our business, I selected Carnegie Enterprise as our training provider. I was able, with Carnegie’s assistance, to put together a training programme for 2008 which has proved to be very useful for my employees with courses ranging from Microsoft IT development to personal development programmes for my supervisors and junior managers. The elements that were the deciding factor for me were the facilities themselves, the helpfulness of the course coordinators and organizers, the breadth of training topics covered (“One stop shop”) and, borne out by my employees’ comments, the effectiveness of the training material and tutors.

I would have no hesitation in making the same decision again and look forward to our continued relationship in 2009 and beyond.”

 Operations Manager, Applied Sweepers

“The Programme is a significant investment into the development of all Lead Officers across the Service. Better leadership means better direction, improved coaching, increased job satisfaction, higher levels of engagement and more customer-responsive service delivery. The programme will therefore benefit every employee within the Service and our customers, not just the people who are directly involved.”

Resources Manager, Development Services, Fife Council

“In any large organisation one of the key resources is managers. To continue to develop high performing teams, we invested in a team development programme designed and facilitated by Carnegie Enterprise Ltd. The programme provided the opportunity for managers to work together in a non-threatening environment in small teams to solve business simulation problems."

HR Director, Babcock Marine Ltd

Carnegie Enterprise Ltd delivered a management development programme for our operations middle management and customer service personnel. The programme was well organised and the content very relevant. An account manager was allocated to our business which provided an excellent communications link throughout the duration of the programme and ongoing training initiatives. Every person who completed the programme has certainly developed their skills and has a much better understanding of the commercial needs of the business, as well as their own role in achieving success."

Managing Director, CR Smith Ltd

“At very short notice, Carnegie Enterprise Ltd adapted off-the-shelf training packages and developed a bespoke training programme to provide the solution for skill gaps in my organisation. The training was sufficiently flexible to address the different skills levels so that each officer could achieve the maximum benefit, in turn providing positive results for the business."

 Fife Constabulary

The range of development programmes is excellent. With flexible delivery and variable options, this resulted in cost effective savings and has forged a lasting partnership, thus saving Andrew the need to look for further providers. Training was recently delivered to meet our needs at our facilities in the Czech Republic and India and Andrew look forward to further enhancing this relationship with Carnegie Enterprise Ltd.
